Supervisory Board

Karl Heinz Achinger

As the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Karl Heinz Achinger, was one of the founders and, until early 2000, the Managing Director of debis Systemhaus GmbH as well as a member of the Executive Board of debis AG. After debis Systemhaus GmbH was acquired by Deutsche Telekom AG he was, until the end of December 2000, Chief Executive Officer of T-Systems and responsible for the integration of debis Systemhaus into T-Systems, a division of Deutsche Telekom AG. Since early 2001 he has been active as a freelance executive consultant in Munich, Germany. From the period December 2002 until September 2003 Mr. Achinger was appointed as an interim CEO by the supervisory board of Software AG, Darmstadt. Except for this period as interim CEO, he had been a member of the company's supervisory board since January 2002. Alongside being an active member of the supervisory board of MAGIX AG, Mr. Achinger is at the moment also chairman of the supervisory board or comparable supervisory committees of the following national and foreign companies:

Dr. Peter Coym

The Deputy Supervisory Board Chairman, Dr. Peter Coym, was until June 2005 a member of the Management Board of Lehman Brothers Bankhaus AG as well as Managing Director of Lehman Brothers, Inc., New York. Since July 2005 he has been a member of the advisory boards of the Lehman Brothers, Germany. In addition, he has, since 2003, been a member of the Advisory Council of the German Bundesbank in Frankfurt. Furthermore, he was a member of the Association of Foreign Banks in Germany (Verband der Auslandsbanken in Deutschland e.V) for thirteen years, of which he was chairman of the executive committee from 2001 to June 2005.

Dierk Borchert

Dierk Borchert was a long-term international partner and director of Arthur Andersen Deutschland. From 1979 to 1993 he was the manager of the quality assurance department of the central offices in Frankfurt. His key area of activity as a senior partner was in the M&A consulting area. Since 1999 Mr. Borchert has been active as a freelance executive consultant and chartered accountant.
