Hybrid Engine for your private sound studio
Samplitude Music Studio 14 - professional home recording
London, October 2007 - The MAGIX series of Samplitude products stand for high sound quality and the highest level of editing possibilities for audio and MIDI. New to the range is the music production software Samplitude Music Studio 14. Equipped with professional functions like the Hybrid Audio Engine, object oriented workflow, multitrack recording, new Vital instruments and elaborate effects automation, the youngest member of the Samplitude family proves that it is worthy of its name. Samplitude Music Studio 14 is available immediately for GBP 69,99 from select retailers.
MAGIX CTO Tilman Herberger: "Experts are already aware that Samplitude technology has always been behind Music Studio. By including Samplitude in the product name we can vouch for the professionalism of this program."
The dynamo of the world's most often purchased music production software*, which unifies every step from recording to editing and mixing to mastering with a single interface, is the Hybrid Audio Engine. It offers minimum latency and maximum performance. Due to extraordinarily short reaction times during calculation of track effects, monitoring, for example, of multitrack live recordings is especially easy. The Samplitude Playback Engine also makes complex computational tasks, like embedded object effects, possible. Furthermore, Samplitude Music Studio 14 has 100% sound neutrality, which is normally only offered from high end analogue consoles.
Even without analogue instruments for realizing your sound ideas, Samplitude Music Studio 14 won't leave the user out in the cold: In addition to the already included five Vital instruments from yellow tools, there are the new "E-Guitar Power Chords", "Electric Guitar" and "Soundtrack Percussion" features. These can be triggered via keyboard or MIDI keyboard and sound absolutely sound natural. The sound of a major orchestra also offers virtual strings, brass and woodwinds. The right sound for every kind of electronic music can be produced with the new polyphonic analogue synthesizer "Revolta 2".
The improved effects automation allows a sequential automation curve in a track, VST, volume or pan parameter to be changed directly by drawing it in. An echo, for example, can be amplified at a certain position and then diminished again. VST MultiOut supports supports multi-channel capable VST instruments which can now be written to up to 16 channels. For an even stronger studio feeling, new support for conventional hardware controllers has been added.
But those new to music studios have been kept in mind. Thanks to the newly designed control elements and variable displays, you'll find whatever you're looking for in the software. With five practical settings for different screen layouts, the user can always keep an eye on the action. If expert knowledge about how to put the finishing touches on your production is missing, then you can find the solution in the new Multimedia Knowledge Community which can be accessed directly from the program.
