The main thing is making music
MAGIX Music Maker 14 is now available as Producer Edition
London, Ocotber 9, 2007 – With its new MAGIX Music Maker 14, the worldwide music software market leader(1) presents more than just another installment of its original program for loop-based music production. The new virtual MIDI instruments for authentic e-guitars and orchestral sounds, as well as loops that sound custom-produced make it a universal tool for all kinds of music. Besides the classical domain of electronic music, the new generation also shows its strengths in rock and mainstream pop genres. MAGIX Music Maker 14 appears not only as a beginner-oriented Classic version, but also as a Producer Edition that delivers countless functions for sophisticated arrangements and the 12-voice synthesizer Revolta 2 for all kinds of electronic sounds. MAGIX Music Maker Producer Edition is available starting October 15, 2007 for GBP 79,99 in stores everywhere. The Classic version of MAGIX Music Maker 14 is available at the same time for GBP 49,99, while the XXL version packaged with a MIDI keyboard and a USB cable, MIDI out and pedal is priced at GBP 109,99.
Despite its range of functions, in both of its versions MAGIX Music Maker 14 remains the simplest solution for creating professional-sounding music. Beginners without any musical background or previous technical knowledge can quickly experience success. Advanced users value the straightforward workflow and generous space for ideas found on MAGIX Music Maker's 96 flexible tracks. The new Vital Instruments, named after their outstanding sound quality and authenticity, complete the stylistic spectrum of both versions, while the Power Chords create rocking electrical guitar sound. MAGIX Music Maker 14 Producer Edition additionally offers the variably applicable clean electrical guitar, opulent sountrack percussions and the virtual analog synthesizer Revolta 2 with integrated effects section for pumping bass and lead or various surface sounds. In addition, both versions of MAGIX Music Maker 14 contain high-quality MIDI orchestra instruments like strings, woodwinds and brass to round off your music repertoire.
For those who would rather rely on professionally-produced sounds, MAGIX Music Maker 14 offers over 1,500 (3,500 in the Producer Edition) new audio and MIDI loops from all genres. With Live Performer, single sequences of the song can be assigned to individual keys. When these keys are activated, the corresponding sequence will sound precisely on the beat. This is especially useful for live performances, when you may decide which passage to play and how often according to the mood of the crowd. Vital Instruments can also be played live, so that, for example, the performer can be accompanied by a guitar, piano or an orchestral ensemble.
The User Live Chat complements the band rehearsal room in both versions of MAGIX Music Maker 14, allowing the user to connect and exchange knowledge with others directly from within the program. With Screen Sharing, all processes can be displayed on the screen of another PC user, for example, showing the steps to creating a remix.
The overriding principle of all tools in MAGIX Music Maker 14 Classic or Producer Edition is that their ease-of-use lets you concentrate on the main thing: making music.
In addition to the Classic and Producer Edition versions, there is also an XXL Version with a MIDI keyboard. It makes inputting notes a lot easier than on any computer keyboard. Your fingers can finally have the freedom to stretch out and move as they wish. 49 large piano keys with dynamic action provide ample space for anything you can think of. The keyboard also has a pitch-bend and modulation wheel, so that the real sounds can be varied in pitch and vibration. After being mixed on the professional mixing board, the song can be mastered and burned to a CD or published as a podcast on the web. This way, MAGIX Music Maker XXL makes not just the best composition result possible, but also provides the quickest path to fame.
