Internet connection
You will require an active Internet connection in order to work with Website Maker because it is an online software and needs permanent access to the MAGIX server. For optimal working conditions we recommend a DSL 2,000 or higher connection (the faster the better).
Minimum system requirements
All MAGIX programs are developed with user-friendliness in mind so that all the basic functions run smoothly and can be fully controlled, even on low-performance computers. Please refer to your operating system’s control panel for technical information on your computer.
Windows®:
- Processor: Intel® Pentium® II or AMD® Athlon® 450 MHz or higher
- Main memory: 1 GB or more (2 GB or more recommended)
- RAM: 50 MB or more
- Internet access: DSL 2,000 (DSL 6,000 or faster recommended)

Import format
- Image: JPEG, Gif (also animated), PNG
- Video: Without conversion: MPEG-4, H.264 / with conversion in MPEG-4: .avi, .wmv, .asf, .mov, .mpeg, 3gp
- Music: .mp3
- Other: all formats possible (will not be processed, but may be linked)
Export formats
- SWF as an embedded object via HTML code (export of media widgets or the entire web site)
