Minimum system requirements
All MAGIX programs are developed with user-friendliness in mind so that all the basic functions run smoothly and can be fully controlled, even on low-performance computers. Check your operating system’s control panel for technical information about your computer.
- Processor: 1.83 GHz or higher
- RAM: 512 MB
- Graphics card: Onboard graphics card with a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 600
- Hard disk memory: 1 GB free disk space for program installation
- Optical drive: DVD drive (only for installation of the box version)
Optional:
- Burn: CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW or DVD-RAM burner or Blu-ray™ burner for HD quality (MPEG-2 usable after free activation)
- USB interface: For data transfer from digital cameras and scanners
Note: The program's internal online services and the online update require an Internet connection. Transfer of MP3 audio to the Online Album requires Windows Media®Player Version 10 or higher.

- Graphic: Imports XAR (with installation of Photo & Graphic Designer and Xara Designer Pro Version 7 – programs usable as direct plugins)
- Audio: Imports camera sound, non-copy-protected CD tracks, MP3, OGG, WAV, etc.
