Single-user licenses: Teachers, schoolchildren, students, lecturers as well as state-recognized schools, colleges, universities, adult education centers and non-profit educational institutions are entitled to use this software.

Multi-user licenses: State-recognized schools, adult education centers, training centers, training institutions (according to SGB III), non-profit educational institutions and universities offering academic degrees are eligible.

Expanded eligibility: Non-profit organizations with objectives such as poverty reduction, education, welfare, culture, environment, health and religious communities are eligible.

Accepted EDU credentials: Student IDs, certificates of enrollment, ISIC/ITIC, as well as documents from educational institutions with an official stamp or letterhead.

Storage of documentation: Required! Proof of purchase will not be saved for future purchases and must be resubmitted with each order.

Single-user licenses: Purchase by invoice is not available. Instead, the payment methods available include PayPal, credit card, or advance payment.

Public institutions: Institutions in Europe can purchase by invoice; outside the EU, advance payment is possible only.

What does the order process entail?

 Single-user licenses: Simply select an item in the EDU shop and submit the order confirmation and proof of authorization by email. Serial numbers and downloads are provided following verification, which usually takes a few days. During this time, the trial version is available.

Bulk licenses: Submit an order inquiry via the contact form above ("Send inquiry") stating the desired software, the number of licenses, and the billing address of the institution.

Verification waiting period: Processing occurs weekdays (Mon-Fri) and serial numbers are sent by email after the order has been verified.

What is the difference between local and network-based license installations?

Locally-managed installation: The serial numbers activate each computer individually via an Internet connection.

Network License Manager (NLM): A network license manager on a Windows server or client activates and manages multiple licenses simultaneously.

NLM availability: This option is available for programs such as Video deluxe and MUSIC MAKER PREMIUM.

BYOD distribution: For distribution as part of "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD), please submit a specific inquiry for this topic.
