Easily and quickly check how secure the data on your CDs and DVDs is with a click. The practical safety indicator light makes the results easy to gauge: If the indicator is green, then the inserted medium can be used without any problems. If the indicator is amber, then the condition is still okay, but it should be considered for a backup. If the indicator is red, then the condition is critical and the disc should be backed up as soon as possible.

MAGIX Disc Image Maker lets you create 1:1 image copies² of CDs and DVDs with a few clicks, save them on your hard drive, and then mount them as a virtual drive later on. Of course, images can be burned to disc again at any time.

Full, incremental & differential backups

MAGIX Speed 2 supports all important backup types, i.e. full, incremental, or differential backups. Full backups include all data present. Incremental backups only store the data that has changed since the last backup or which is new. In principle, differential backups work basically the same way. The last full backup is all that is required, but it requires slightly more storage space than the incremental backup.

NEW! Partially create and restore backups

Now MAGIX Speed 2's new, upgraded backup functions will save you even more time. You can exclude specific files from partial backups or apply file filter options, e.g. to backup the operating system without video files, etc. There are also options available for restoring. Just restore the things you want, even individual files. The partition backup will simply be mounted using MAGIX Virtual Drive Maker; all you need to do is choose what you want!

Start backing up or burning directly

All important backup and burn functions can be launched with a right click (via the context menu) and started directly without having to launch the program. One click is enough to access the application you need. It doesn't get any quicker and easier than that!
