Photostory now up to 3x faster and with more creative possibilities for custom slideshows

With great new features in the areas of performance, effects and operation, creating and sharing digital slideshows with Photostory is now more fun than ever before.

MAGIX releases the new Photostory Deluxe and delivers a wide range of new features for the popular slideshow software – for enhanced performance, more creative options and a simplified workflow. Working with Photostory is now easier and faster – and the results are impressive like never before.

Optimized performance for smoother playback

Transitions now display up to 2x faster and collages up to 3x faster in Photostory Deluxe, allowing for a more seamless workflow. This way, previews of finished projects can be played smoothly. In addition, the new version features a significantly faster program start, so users can now get started on their projects in a split second.

New presentation mode and new transition menu

Photostory Deluxe includes a brand new presentation mode for easily displaying finished slideshows on TV without needing to copy or burn them beforehand. With the redesigned transition menu, finding the right transition for a slideshow is quick and simple. Photostory now contains a detailed preview and shows previously used transitions and favorites.

More realistic travel route animations

Thanks to optimizations and add-ons in the MAGIX Travel Maps module, the new Photostory Deluxe now includes a wider array of design options for creating vacation and travel slideshows. MAGIX Travel Maps now contains additional 3D avatars, for instance bicycles, jeeps and cruise ships, and enables you to switch between various transport types to display complex travel routes in an even more realistic way. The program interface is now also clearer to use and operation has been simplified.

Photostory Traveler Edition and Photostory Premium VR

With the release of Photostory Deluxe, MAGIX is updating the entire range of Photostory products. First released in November 2018, Photostory Traveler Edition now contains all new features from Photostory Deluxe since the last update in March, including realistic 3D avatars and highlighting photos on a travel route.

The version for creating 360° tours – Photostory Premium VR – also includes all new functions from Photostory Deluxe and Photostory Traveler Edition, plus more than 70 exclusive effects such as collages, transitions and songs, as well as a wide range of optimizations for more professional presentations. Users can now enlarge, rotate, color & minimize elements in virtual space and arrange them on top of or behind one another. High resolution images up to 16K can also be displayed online or on mobile devices. Plus, the direction of view in 360° recordings can now be controlled to define the first thing the viewer sees in the slideshow. 360° videos can be directly trimmed in panoramic view, so users can obtain a realistic preview of the results even while still editing the video. The new, free play app is now also available for iOS and lets users share their finished project instantly.
