6 April, IPO. Listing on the Prime Standard under ISIN DE0007220782 with a share capital of 12,662,038 Euros divided up into 12,662,038 registered no-par shares, free float 36.28%, market capitalization ca. 207 million Euros.
2005
Expansion of the multimedia platform iPACE with additional, partly mobile-compatible online services, for example, MAGIX Online Print Service and MAGIX Podcast Service. Investment in share of m2any GmbH. Signing of co-operational contracts with Medion (for Aldi), Samsung, and Swisscom (Bluewin).
2004
Expansion of the software range with various online services, for example, MAGIX Online Album, MAGIX Music Shop and MAGIX Online Content Library; Signing co-operational contracts with Motorola and Fujitsu-Siemens.
2002
Signing of co-operational deal with T-Online.
2001
Formation of MAGIX AG via change of corporate form.
2000
Investment in funds managed by the 3i Group plc and the tbg Technologie- Beteiligungs-Gesellschaft mbH (Technology Investment Company) within the framework of increasing capital.

Headquarters moved to Berlin.

Release of MAGIX Music Maker, the first multimedia application from MAGIX for private users, combining software technology with usable content.
1993
MAGIX Technology GmbH founded by Jürgen Jaron, Dieter Rein and Erhard Rein. Purchase of rights to the line of professional software solutions for audio recording ("Samplitude") and the beginning of software development for design and editing of music by private users ("Music Maker").
