Marketing and PR Manager in the US (m/f)

With a wide range of video, photo and music services MAGIX meets the needs of laymen, professional or industrial customers using cell phones, digital cameras, games consoles, or PCs for either purely personal use or for community sharing.

In order to strengthen our business in USA we are currently seeking to recruit a
Marketing and PR Manager (m/f)

In this newly created position will have the following responsibilities:

Manage product publicity and press relations, enlarge and intensify contacts to key media, manage talking points and media statements, including any other communications-related material, press tours and presentations of our software / online services
Support our online marketing including developing relationships to grow awareness
Drive traffic to the MAGIX website and exploit online sales
Develop new ideas and pursue new business opportunities

Qualifications / Requirements:

Experience in online marketing and building partner programs
Must be familiar with general marketing practices and concepts
Experience in PR initiatives and in establishing relationship to editors and writers
Already established contacts to key press, radio, tv-stations (computer, general interest) are highly appreciated
BA/BSc or equivalent qualification
Experience in growing revenues and/or customer base through direct email marketing and partner programs
Ability to work independently
Ability to understand and quickly apply new technologies and information, experience in audio / video / photo software highly appreciated
Effective organizational and documentation skills, experience in working with MS Office, (Access)
Strong business sense and project management skills
Excellent oral/written communication

Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience.
